We just returned from a quick, 5 day getaway to Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. A 6 hour flight & a passport check later, we landed in paradise. On repeat: eat, drink, sleep, lounge, drink, nap, eat….
We enjoyed room service breakfast & delicious coffee each morning on our terrace.
With this being the view from said terrace.
We didn’t do much & it was exactly what we needed.
We enjoyed plenty of beach time, including a long walk to a nearby village.
Where I scored an awesome rug for our office!
And more beach time…. Is there anything better than toes in the sand & sun on your face?
But mostly, we drank these. Whoever invited the pool bar is a genius in my book.
And of course, enjoyed 5 days of uninterrupted time together. It’s amazing what it’ll do for your soul (that and all those margaritas…)!
We got lucky with an amazing tropical storm the last night, which started with a gorgeous sunset to boot.
Adios Nuevo Vallarta, you were good to us!

PS. It’s also worth mentioning we got a screaming deal on the resort since it’s the off season & killer cheap flights off Expedia.com. A little internet research (we love you tripadvisor.com) and a bit o’ wanderlust will do you good!
