Wanderlust Wednesday: Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico

22 Aug

We just returned from a quick, 5 day getaway to Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. A 6 hour flight & a passport check later, we landed in paradise. On repeat: eat, drink, sleep, lounge, drink, nap, eat….

Mexico We enjoyed room service breakfast & delicious coffee each morning on our terrace.

With this being the view from said terrace.

We didn’t do much & it was exactly what we needed.

We enjoyed plenty of beach time, including a long walk to a nearby village.

Bucerias, MexicoWhere I scored an awesome rug for our office!

Mexico And more beach time…. Is there anything better than toes in the sand & sun on your face?

Plus, plenty of these. In the pool. Awesome.

Mexico And of course, enjoyed 5 days of uninterrupted time together. It’s amazing what it’ll do for your soul.

Mexico We got lucky with an amazing tropical storm the last night, which started with a gorgeous sunset to boot.

Adios Nuevo Vallarta, you were good to us!

Carpe Diem,

PS. It’s also worth mentioning we got a screaming deal on the resort since it’s the off season & killer cheap flights off Expedia.com. A little internet research (we love you tripadvisor.com) and a bit o’ wanderlust will do you good!

    Hi there,

I was wondering whether I can use your coffee photo above for my Facebook page ‘C is for Coffee’. The idea is to combine coffee, travel and photography. Basically just like in your photo. Obviously I can mention your name and the location where the photo was taken. Hope to hear from you soon and feel to like the page. Thanks!
